Golden Rescue Adoption Alert-Whiskey #1019

Whiskey #1019 is a healthy 3 year old boy jam packed full of energy.  Whiskey requires an owner who will be firm with his training and someone who would spend time attending obedience classes with him.
He requires a lot of exercise to curb his high energy and mischievous behaviour. Whiskey loves people and would do well in a family with or without teenagers in the home. He loves to sleep close to his family and will cuddle at your feet if you let him.
Whiskey gets along well with other large breed dogs but could mistake a small dog as a chew toy.  If you are that special family with love and patience, please consider adopting Whiskey. He’s a sharp beautiful boy that will give all his love and affection to his new owner.

If you would like more information about Whiskey, please call our hot line at 416-657-2445 or toll free at 1-866-712-8444 and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.

Golden Rescue Adoption Alert - Sadie #1055

Sadie #1055 -  Content is the most appropriate word to describe Sadie. Sadie is 11 years old -she knows what she wants and how to tell you but she doesn’t ask for much.  Feed her twice a day and one nice long walk around dinner time and she’s completely happy… but, she can be rather demanding if a ‘walk’ doesn’t come her way by 6:30 p.m.  She loves attention (what Retriever doesn’t).  Sadie is good with older dogs but younger ones have a little too much ‘playfullness’ for her.   Sadie loves car rides and loves to be outside (but not always alone).  She’s quite a mature lady and she does rest a lot (like most seniors).  She’s a real sweetheart and such a well behaved lady. She has been a pleasure to foster.  Sadie has had no exposure to cats but feel that she would not make a compatible companion.  Sadie has no current health issues - a clean bill of health.  She is currently being fostered in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. If you are that special family (or person) with love and patience, please consider adopting Sadie.

If you would like more information about Sadie, please call our hot line at 416-657-2445 or toll free at 1-866-712-8444 and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.

Golden Rescue Adoption Alert - Clyde #1068

******ADOPTED******

Clyde # 1068 - Joyous is the most appropriate word to describe Clyde. He is happy when he wakes up and happy when he goes to bed at night. He is 8 years old. Clyde is good with other dogs but will chase cats. Clyde loves to hear you chat with him through the day, play with toys, ride in the car and go for walks in the forest.
Clyde needs a special family as he has arthritis. The most urgent priority right now is getting his weight down about 10 pounds to relieve the pressure on his joints. He requires an adoptive family who can commit to this goal. Clyde will require arthritis medication and vet prescribed food, so potential owners would need to be able to manage this financially. The good news is he has a clean bill of health otherwise! He is being fostered in the Barrie area. If you are that special family with love and patience, please consider adopting Clyde. He’s a charmer!!

If you would like more information about Clyde, please call our hot line at 416-657-2445 or toll free at 1-866-712-8444 and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
